Yoga Tree is a registered school with the Yoga Alliance and we are approved for both 200 and 500 hour teacher trainings.

Yoga Alliance 200 Hour Teacher Training Fall 2008

October 20 - November 21.

This course includes pranayama, asana techniques, teaching skills, philosophy, ethics and anatomy. This course will cover all the required subjects and hours as detailed by the Yoga Alliance 200 hour registration standards www.yogaalliance.org.

Asana poses that will be covered are: the basic standing poses, seated forward bends, twists, back bends and inversions. We will also touch on yoga for pregnancy, menstruation sequences, and simple therapeutics. Pranayama techniques will include ujjai through viloma. The philosophy will be based on the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.

Below is a description of our Fall 2007 500 Hour Teacher Training.

Yoga Tree is proud to announce our 500 Hour Yoga Alliance Teacher Training for Fall 2007.  This 300 hour course is a continuing teacher training for those who have already aquired their 200 hour Yoga Alliance registration.

This course will cover all the required subjects and hours as detailed by the Yoga Alliance 500 hour registration standards www.yogaalliance.org. Topics include: Asana, Pranayama, Philosophy and Ethics, Teaching Methodology, Anatomy and Physiology.

Cost

Entire Course: $3600

Early Registration: 20% discount if payment received by August 15th ($2,880).

Weekly: $575

Daily: $120 or $15/hour
